Hocking Valley Scenic Railway

The Hocking Valley Railroad was built in the mid-1800s to take coal from Southern Ohio to Toledo, OH. Eventually it became part of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad. Today the oldest and southernmost end lives on as the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway. Diesel and now steam powered trains operate out of Nelsonville, OH.
