Nickel Plate Road 765 Night Shoot 5-7-22
Organized by Chris Lantz Photography to kick-off the 50th year of the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society, a night photo shoot was held with Nickel Plate Road 765. Several scenes were staged to take us back to May 7, 1955. The freshly restored Wabash caboose 2543 was featured as was a beautifully restored Hudson Super Six. Many of the scenes are reminiscent of old Nickel Plate Road publicity photos. In fact, 765 and a block of reefer cars were representative of train OB-2, a fast scheduled meat train that would stop in Fort Wayne.
