National Train Day 2014
May 3, 2014, was a special day as it was National Train Day 2014. Nickel Plate Road 765 was running a 21st Century Steam Program excursion from Elkhart, IN to Bryan, OH and return. In nearby Toledo, OH at the Toledo Union Terminal Norfolk Southern had sent the New York Central Heritage Unit for display. Also, there were engines from the Wheeling & Lake Erie, Great Lakes Central and Amtrak on display.
