Virginia Creeper

Photographer O. Winston Link is mostly known for his black and white night photography of the Norfolk & Western Railway except for one place the Abingdon Branch. It was here that Link photographed in color and in the day time. The local train known as the "Virginia Creeper" was powered by Class M 4-8-0 #382. While 382 and the Abingdon Branch are now lost to history it can be replicated on the Strasburg Railroad.
